NOTICE OF USWSU ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 

In accordance with the Articles of Association of the University of South Wales Students’ Union, notice of an Annual General Meeting is hereby given to the Student Members of the University of South Wales Students’ Union to be held at 18:00 on the Thursday 25th January 2024 at Eclipse, University of South Wales Students’ Union Building, Treforest, CF37 1UF.  

The Annual General Meeting is called for the express purposes of the following business:  

• Ratification of the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting 

• Receive the report of the Trustees of the Union’s Activities since the previous Annual General Meeting 

• Receive information on the accounts of the Union for the previous financial year 

• Approval of the Union’s affiliations 

• Debating and Setting Union Policy  

• Open Questions to the Trustees by the Student Members 

• Discuss and deal with any other business put before the Student Members by the Union Trustees 

The Annual General Meeting will be chaired by the Chair of Student Council 

Subject to revocation of membership as outlined in the Standing Orders, the Annual General Meeting is open for any student member to attend and participate in, including asking questions and proposing Union Policy.
