Your Voice , Your Well-Being

I am Imam, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of VP Welfare. Having served as a Student Navigator, International Welcome Ambassador, and Course Representative, I have had the privilege of actively engaging with the concerns and needs of our diverse student community.

Throughout my roles, I have been a staunch advocate for ensuring that every student's voice is not only heard but also acted upon. As a Student Navigator, I have assisted my peers in navigating the complexities of university life, providing guidance and support to make their academic journey smoother.

In my capacity as an International Welcome Ambassador, I have worked towards creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for our international students. I understand the importance of making our campus a home away from home, ensuring that every student feels a sense of belonging.

As the Course Representative for Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance Systems, I have actively sought to address the concerns and feedback of my fellow students. I believe that a VP Welfare should be a proactive advocate for the well-being of every student, both in academic and personal matters.

I want to uphold my commitment to enhancing and promoting accessible support services, advocating for mental health initiatives to destigmatize issues and provide essential support, fostering a supportive environment for our international students, creating opportunities for increased student engagement, and maintaining transparent communication channels.

Student's well-being is my priority, and I am dedicated to creating a more supportive and inclusive student community.Together, let's build a stronger and more connected student community.
