Let's make USW fully inclusive again.
I aim to help make USW a safer place for all those under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
I want to ensure that there are queer friendly events hosted all year round. I want to make any pride nights more than just a token event to tick a box. I want students to have the opportunity to express themselves without fear !
I want to create a network hub in treforest of all local LGBTQIA+ groups outside the University that all students would be able to access, to be able to find any help and advice they need. I also want this network to expand to students studying in cardiff and Newport, giving all of those who study at usw the opportunity to receive support and have access to it in the local areas where they study.
Lastly I want to reintroduce the LGBTQ+ society where weekly meet ups and social outings can happen.
