This is D M S A Navid, a candidate aspiring to become the Vice President (Activities) in the forthcoming 2024 Students' Union Leadership Race. With my background in law, I am about to finish my LLM (International Commercial Law) from USW.
Given my extensive involvement with student-led organizations in various capacities and longstanding passion for extracurricular activities, I am quite equipped to excel in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position. I have been part of organizing a number of events at USW along with many student societies. I have actively participated in International Cultural Fest, Open Days, and student fairs. On top of these, I have been associated with sports like cricket, table tennis, basketball, and hockey. Exploring and trekking is my favorite hobby. Overall, I'm a fast learner and adept at collaborating with team members.
As VP (Activities), I aim to enhance SU's regular initiatives, campaigns, and events like ‘Varsity’. Additionally, I am committed to catering to the needs of the Teams, Clubs, and Societies to foster their enduring growth. My primary concern would be to engage students in our routine while prioritizing inclusivity and diversity.
